I absolutely love my chieftain shoes, to the point where I recently ordered a second pair when the kudu leather edition became available. The quality and craftsmanship is apparent throughout every detail and you can really feel it. The break in period was very short for me and the shoes fit me like a glove. It's the quality and feel that made it very easy to pull the trigger on buying a second pair with a different look and feel to them but with the same quality and craftsmanship you can expect.

In the past I always struggled to find shoes that fit properly, were quality made and looked good. I always had to sacrifice one of the 3 for a shoe but no longer. My chieftain boots have been my go to for pretty much everything ever since I first took them out of the box.

Zodra je de doos opent, komt die heerlijke ledergeur je tegemoet. Je wil ze meteen aantrekken en een eerste wandeling maken. Ze zitten perfect — en ik vind ze ook nog eens bijzonder mooi.

The Kudu leather is absolutely breathtaking. This is my first pair of Chieftains, and let me tell you, the fit is amazing. The finishing touches are spot on, and the color is easily one of the most versatile boot tones out there because it shifts between taupe, olive, and a grey-navy mix depending on the lighting and what pants you wear. It is just such an incredible boot. Regarding the fit, the size is exactly the same as most of my other boots like Red Wing, which is one full size down from my standard sneakers by Nike or Adidas. I will certainly be buying another pair from Lennertson in the future.

Habe den dunkelbraunen schuh in 43,5..etwas steiferes leder als der schwarze chieftain,optisch schön,eingehzeit tauert etwas länger,kein proplem! habe den schuh auch bei waldspaziergänge und leichten steilen gelände an,gute stabilität und gripp an der sohle!
ich muss gesundheits einlagen verwenden bei längeren spaziergänge,aber ich hab festgestellt,daß es ohne auch geht,und die lederbrandsohle gar nicht so wenig dämpfung zum boden hat,daß mag ich!super schuh,hält was aus,schnürrsenkel hab ich gegen dickere ausgetauscht,einfache pflege,und super emailverkehr mit den Betreibern vom lennertson team

when first wearing, the high rim was a bit rough and hard, but that got smoother after wearing for a while
so now, worn in, they are pretty perfect ! :
the leather is strong, it looks good, but above all the 'feel' is there: when walkng they give the stride a comfortabele, elegant and energetic feeling

I've been looking for a long time to get high quality boots, that also look "business casual. Used them during winter, they did not disappoint. They keep their color and shape very well. High quality leather, soles, ...
They do take some time to break in compared to boots made with less thick materials.

I've had my Chieftains for a little over a year now, and I'm so happy with them that I've ordered a second pair. I wore them regularly through the winter and I'm usually pretty tough on my shoes, so very impressed that they're still going strong with only minor wear on the soles. The waxed leather is robust and requires little maintenance beyond brushing. They're smart enough to wear to the office, comfy enough to walk around in all day and look good with everything, really can't fault them.

Lennertson shoes are shoes of high quality. And for me the design is perfekt.
They are somewhat stiff in the beginning, but that changes with time and use.

Shoes have a great fit. Bit stiff at first and you have to wear them in, but then… heaven!
